Performance and Image Enhancing Drugs

 Peer Harm Reduction Program (PIEDs)

If you use steroids, peptides, selective androgen receptor modulators (SARMs), human growth hormone (HGH) and related PIEDs, you deserve access to health information and support that’s practical, accurate and judgement-free.

While we don’t provide cycle planning, dosing advice or prescriptions, we focus on your health through peer-informed harm reduction support, practical information and connections to services that can help you stay safer and monitor your health.

We also support health professionals, community workers and referrers who want their clients to have a safe, confidential place to ask questions and get reliable information.

The program can provide:

  • Practical harm reduction information about steroids, peptides, SARMs, HGH and related drugs
  • Support to understand health risks, side effects and warning signs that need medical attention
  • Access to sterile injecting equipment, including needles, syringes and related supplies, and safe disposal of used equipment
  • Safer injecting information, injection technique, site rotation, and concerns about pain, lumps, scar tissue and infection
  • Health monitoring information, including blood tests, blood pressure, cardiovascular health, sexual health, mental health and when to seek medical support
  • Assistance finding GPs, clinics and health services that are more informed about and non-judgmental towards PIED use
  • Information about coming off, recovery, post-cycle transition and looking after health during this period
  • Information about the risks associated with counterfeit, contaminated or unknown products
  • Referral pathways to other relevant health and support services
  • An anonymous text back service.

Support for workers

Workers supporting clients who use steroids, peptides, SARMs, HGH or related drugs can contact the program for a secondary consultation. We can help you respond more confidently and connect your client with appropriate support.
