Update on BHN’s Clarinda and Bentleigh sites
Better Health Network (BHN) is committed to our purpose of delivering accessible health and wellbeing services that meet the needs of our communities.
To continue providing care in the most effective way, we’ll be relocating the services based at our Clarinda and Bentleigh sites to other nearby BHN locations, including Parkdale and Bentleigh East.
There will be no reduction in the services we deliver, and no loss of staff as part of the upcoming changes. All team members currently working at Clarinda and Bentleigh will continue their work across other BHN sites.
These nearby sites – along with others in Chelsea, Prahran, St Kilda and South Melbourne – will continue to offer a wide range of health and wellbeing services for our community.
For now, programs and services at Clarinda and Bentleigh will continue as usual. Clients do not need to do anything at this time.
We are currently consulting with our teams at Clarinda and Bentleigh on how to best relocate services to ensure the best outcomes and minimise any impact on client care. Consultation will run until mid-November, after which we will have a clearer idea of next steps and timing.
We will continue to work closely with clients to ensure they can keep accessing the care and supports they need, and we’ll provide regular updates as plans progress.
In the meantime, clients are welcome to contact our friendly team via 132 BHN (132 246) or speak with their BHN worker if they have any questions.
We appreciate the support of our clients, team and community as we make these changes to strengthen how we deliver holistic care.
